See
the details of the Player Projections Software
Fantistics
continues to be the single most important tool I use in the
pre-season, during the draft and throughout the season. The
analysis and advice given by the Fantistics staff has helped me
finish in the top two in my primary league for 7 seasons in a row.
Keep up the great work! (Anthony Messineo)
Fantistics is a
very insightful and quite useful tool for fantasy league baseball
owners. I find the folks at Fantistics are right significantly more
often than other prognosticators. The player rating projections are
extremely helpful (as they are customizable) for any style of league
and the daily updates are very useful in keeping on top of player
trends, injuries, etc. An extremely worthwhile investment for
fantasy players who want to win. (Joel Lubin)
Fantistics is
great. I had my league title in sight when I lost Mauer, Rollins
and Zimmerman in the 2nd week of my 2 week championship. (Barry
Sparks)
Fantistics is the
best projection tool in the business and has made me a very
successful and knowledgeable fantasy baseball player. Thank you!
(Bryan Powers)
Fantistics
provided me with excellent data for both the draft and managing my
team in-season.... (Frank Basich)
Fantistics
provides the information in an easy to understand format. This
service will provide you with a foundation to make educated
decisions that would otherwise be left up to guess-work. (Don
Hallwachs)
Great place to
learn about what's going on behind the scenes, up and comers and to
understand from a numbers perspective who is solid and who is just
plain lucky! Definitely used that to my advantage in a trade or two
in the past couple of years. (Todd Figley)
Great
Service....I started playing fantasy baseball 6 years ago and won
for the 2nd thime this year by 20 points. And the other years always
finished in the money with either 2nd or 3rd place. (Don Williams)
Great software.
Finally broke through this year, barring a complete collapse today,
after many seconds and third place finishes. Makes getting ready for
the fantasy baseball season a simple and effective process. Keep up
the great work! (Robert Mathew)
Great stuff. I'm
a lifetime customer. (James Britton)
Great tool for
the Draft. Couple of players away. Hami missed the last month, Pena
sucked w/ BA, Stubbs will get better, Heyward froze the last month
due to being a rookie, Santana got injured (again), etc. (Tom
O'Neill)

Hands down the
best fantasy baseball place for fantasy baseball information on the
planet. These guys give you all the information you need to dominate
your league. I am the reigning Champion in a twelve team keeper
league and I have been to finals 2 of the last 3 years ( defeated by
another owner that uses Fantistics) and I am currently in the finals
this year thanks to Fantistics. P.S. please dont use my name if you
use this. I dont want any of the other guys in the league to know my
secret. (S.P.)
Have been using
Fantistics baseball for years and can't imagine going into my 10
hour auction without it. (Andy Gradel)
Have used
Fantistics for many years and there is nothing available that can
compete with it as a tool for the highly motivated and intelligent
player to crush the competition. (Michael Terner)
Having a very
busy schedule I love the pre draft Database as it does all the work
for me. It allows me to have all the players predictions right in
front of me going into the draft. Being in a carry over league and
an auction draft, I can eliminate the players already taken and
concentrate on the best available in the draft and the price I
should pay for them. (David Workman)
Hey, thought you may want to contact me for a
quote/recommendation...I have been with you guys for quite a while
now. In 2008 I won the overall ESPN Grand Prize trip for two to the
All-Star Game....in 2009 I won the same prize, but in the H2H
format....pretty crazy eh? I owe A TON to you guys!!! Alas, I am
only #8 on the H2H leaderboard, so there will likely not be a
threepeat :-( (Eric MacPherson)
I am in the
FINALS of five (5) of six (6) Yahoo Public leagues! I have won
Yahoo Winners leagues with this service. Service is a must for
fantasy players in Keeper Leagues. (george Wood)
I came in first
out of twelve teams in a highly competitive league. Fantistics
helped get me there. Based on the projections I had Joey Votto,
Josh Hamilton, Ubaldo Jimenez, Francisco Liriano all valued ahead of
other draft projections. These players helped to carry my team to a
championship. The league I play in has been around for 15 years -
this was the first time a second year owner has won. (Paul Haddix)
I dominated my
league this year and I primarily credit Insider Baseball's awesome
draft projection and ranking software. (Mark Wuillamey)
During the survey we asked
subscribers what their overall Impression of Fantistics was:

I don't even
consider other services. Every season, I automatically renew with
Fantistics and every year I am very pleased with the product (Joe
Palcsak)
I find fantistics
very helpful in competing in my leagues. (Richard Fechter)
I finished last
my 1st two years in our league. Bought Fantistics, used the draft
tool, read the daily emails, and have now won my league 3 years in a
row. Enough said. (Eric Schmiedicke)
I found your
hitting projections to be excellent. I play in 6 leagues and
finished with 3-1sts, 2-2nds and an 8th.....those results don't lie.
I'll be back next season. (William Rupert)
I have always
done well. I started in the mid-80's before the Internet and
utilized strategies at that time that are comparable to what you
promote, but your stat analysis takes a lot of that past guesswork
out of the equation. Sure there's still guesswork and intuition, but
much less. Thanks. (Lawrence Silverman)
I have been a
loyal subscriber for many years in Fantistics Baseball and
Football. The draft day tools are unparalleled, and the daily in
season reporting makes all the difference between winning and not
winning. The Expected Pitching Rotations for the next 2 weeks are a
terrific planning tool for matchups and vulture wins. There is more
information on the Fantistics site than anyone who is serious about
Fantasy Baseball could ever want. There is no other fantasy
baseball service for me. (John Spillane)
I have enjoyed
useing the product & it has helped in giving me some insight into
player selections. (Scott Gilbertson)
I have used
Fantistics draft software and season tools for the past two years in
a keeper draft. I finished in the money both years (3rd last year
and 2nd this year). I have used other draft software and
information services before but this is the easiest, most
comprehensive and it would seem the most accurate in the player
projections. (Lorne Ryall)
I have used many
tools over the years but Fantistics was the first one to really
deliver on its claims. A couple of my friends in other leagues want
me to help them with their drafts next year. (Mike Calvaruso)
I have used the
football software for a number of years and finally decided you use
your software and it helped a lot. I will use it again next year.
Thanks (James Johnston)
I have won my
league three of the last four seasons. The one year I didn't, my
computer crashed during the first round of the draft and I lost all
of my Insider Baseball info. (Scott Pitek)
I have won over
$8,000 profit from playing in baseball leagues this year. If I am
not reading fantistics daily newsletter, I feel out of touch with
why players are performing the way they are - thinking in terms of
indicators and sabermetrics, and being reminded as well as updated
on those numbers in current players that are underperforming or
outperforming can show what are outlier performances and real
progression. This is absolutely critical in managing my rosters as I
make league leading add/drops and numerous trades, and trade
proposals. Taking advantage of the largest discrepancies in their
peripherals and perceived values, I trade players constantly and
usually do so giving up more players than I receive to I could find
hidden value from the free agent pool so i can continue to trade the
streaking fakers and regressed destined, for players that have
greater track records but are mired in slumps, but have no
regressions in key less used and saber stat categories like EYE and
ISO and BABIP and Strand Rate and K/9, K/BB. Until i have a top 2-4
round pick caliber player at each position i will continue to trade
players that are 6-12 round picks overperforming, by marketing and
shopping them. Discovering their perceived value to each manager so
i can get the most from the manager that wants the most, and
minimize risk, while creating roster spaces so I can find the next
breakout player and trade him before a regression sets in for a
frustrated owner that has a top pick underperforming but with
indications that a hot streak is on the horizon. tand additions
thwhy a individual player performance may regress or improve, or
performance that goes unnoticed. (Rhett Rosenbledt)
I historically
finish 2-4th in my league and that is a direct reflection on the
insight I receive from this site. My knowledge has grown each year
as I allow my scope to be broadened by the information you all
produce. I am a big fan of Mr. Blasi's and the information he puts
out on pitchers. I wish that he would actually do more of that for
the Major Leaguers. I have really enjoyed the writings of Drew
Dinkmeyer, particularly this year. He seems to be coming in to his
own, as I sense more confidence from him in/with his opinions and
numbers to support it. I like the fact that he's not afraid to step
out on a limb with his opinions and not state the obvious. He also
posts on many players instead of allowing the generic "newsreporter"
give info on players. (Donald Strother)
During the survey we asked
subscribers what their impression was of our 2010 player
projections:
I look forward to
getting your stuff every day (marshall crandall)
I love the VAM
concept and I have been attempting to emulate it for years. I'm
glad to have it all done for me. My draft went smoother this year
than any other. I'll be back. (Phillip Lord)
I PLAY IN 3 TO 4
LEAGUES EVERY YEAR. SINCE I USED FANTISTICS FOR THE LAST FEW YEARS
THERE HAS BEEN A TREMENDOUS IMPROVEMENT IN ALL ASPECTS OF MY
DRAFTING. THE WORK HERE IS BETTER THAN ANYTHING I HAVE EVER SEEN.
IM A LIFETIME MEMBER OF THIS PRODUCT. THANK YOU (STEVE SCHAUER)
I played in 20
leagues this year and 19 for cash. Most were not 5 by 5, some had
10x10 or greater. In one league i have 107 points out of 110. 11
team league. Made over 5 g's. (Rhett Rosenbledt)
I really didn't
pay attention to who provided what info (regarding rating the
columnists)...other than "Lou" (who is outstanding by the way).
(Gary Justus)
I think that this
is a great service that really helped me this year in 2 of 3 money
leagues that I always play in. Using and understanding how it works
really helped this year!! LOL In past years I have never used the
draft day help on my lap top but this year I did and it helped
big-time. The cost of the service was easily paid for by my
winnings! (Brian MacDonald)
I think you do a
great job sizing up hitters.... (Alisha Jarnagan)
I thought the
software gave me a great insight in preparing for the draft in my AL
only Keeper league. By allowing me to customize what stats we count
as well as the weighting at which I value the stats, it allowed me
to make logical decisions about who I should draft and when I should
draft certain players. I was very comfortable with the team I
drafted and I ended up making less mistakes than I used to when it
came to choosing players in the middle and late rounds of the
draft. This is the best finish I have had in my Keeper League.
(Patrick Domingo)
I used the draft
software and it was great. The daily notes are something I look
forward to and it is by far the most useful information I have ever
had from a service. I will certainly continue to tell my friends and
I will certainly will be back next year. Great job guys! (Benjamin
Peterson)
I was able to get
Votto, Hamilton, and Ubaldo in our initial draft and then back it up
with CJ Wilson, Colby Lewis and Jose Tabata in our supplemental
draft. The insights in your projection software and 2nd half
hitter/pitcher projections allowed me to take 1st place walking
away. See you next year and many years to follow! (Darron
Brightwell)
I will be a
subscriber from here out with you guys. I used to be a guy who
picked up a book and looked at last years numbers and went to the
draft and i always scratched my head as to how a guy could drop off
so much over 1 year but with your service i am so much more prepared
and on top of the guys who have bad stats but have good peripherals
and vice versa. You guys were right on with delmon young around
late april, i picked him up and he literally went on a tear. Same
with gavin floyd, he was dropped in a league with a short bench and
i picked him up just about at the bottom (based on your
recommendation) and he was lights out until the end. unfortunately
i didn't do well in this league with these two pickups but that was
just due to bad drafting. i don't use your service so much for adp
projecting or the stats software but i love the pre-season emails
you send with blurbs about guys and peripherals and
overvalued/undervalued. i'm not sure if you guys set up a tier
system or agree with that draft strategy but i have been more
successful with using tiering and i pay roto world because they give
me a nice base to start a tier system. keep up the good work, i
don't know what i would do without your service. if you just pick
up a newspaper and look at boxscores its very hard to really see
whats going on with a player as a potential pick up. you guys do
all of the hard work in looking at those numbers and finding gems.
thanks (joseph coniglio)
I will continue
to live and die by this software's projections. With the continued
added tools this is the best software while going through a live
draft to always know who you really should draft to fill your teams
needs at that point in the draft. (mike giovacchini)
I will never use
anything else. Why the hell should I!!! I just need to keep this
to myself if at all possible. (Bill Hall)
i would not be
without Fantistics. it is very helpful to me. this year has been a
strange one with so many players underperforming, but you guys have
kept it in perspective. i lost youklis, morales and pedroia on one
team and still won the lg,even with kemp stinking. used your help
for replacements. thanks (henry campbell)
I would highly
recommend the service to all levels of fantasy participants - both
in the usefulness and especially the price. (Jim Horton)
I'm glad you guys
were not paid on commission this year. I've used your service a
number of years and have always had a competitive team but this was
my best year ever. (Billy Coleman)
I've been in the
money every year since I began with Fantistics I think when you
started up. I was a winning championship early this decade but have
found out that at least half my league has subscribed to you and has
made it much harder to win it all - but I think I'm back on top
since I prioritize offense and after 1 or 2 top pitchers wait and
finish my roster late and transact all season. As your site has
said in the past, Pitching is the hardest thing to project (John
Scheer)
I've been playing
fantasy baseball for 25 years now and I've found that Fantistics
saves me time and delivers a very strong projection. In an era
where the stats used by various leagues get more insane, Fantistics
is able to mull these different stats over and deliver a strong
customized ranking of players for all the different scenarios with
the same powerfull tool. Job Well Done! (Jeff Heisterkamp)
I've won the last
5 leagues I've participated in, some for dollars, some for pride.
The owners in my leagues know I must be using a very good fantasy
service, but I'll never tell them which one! (Michael Bushe)
If your not a
member of Fantistics you're not giving yourself a chance to win! I
have won 6 of the 7 seasons using Insider Baseball. I wouldn't
start a season or join a league without them. (Tanker Cook)
In a "rebuilding"
year I am sitting in first with under two weeks to go, despite
selling some of my expiring contracts. I owe a lot of my success
this season to the Fantistics draft tool and the edge it gave me on
auction day. (Aaron Kaminski)
In the last 4
years while subscribing to Fantistics I have yet to finish lower
than 3rd in a 15 team mixed auction. I find your draft software to
be the most accurate and user friendly of any product I have
researched or purchased in the past. Charge more for your product!
then less guys in my league will be inclined to purchase it, but I
certainly would! Keep up the great work. (Jeff Taylor)
Just wanted to
drop you a quick note and congratulate you on another great year. I
subscribe to several services and yours is one seems to get better
each year. I play a lot (probably too much) of fantasy baseball at
CBS, Fanball and NFBC and your service helped me have my most
successful campaign yet. Profits of nearly $20,000 in 2010. I have
been a loyal customer of your for several years now and will
obviously continue in 2011. (M Miller)
Keep it up! No
one could ever top what Fantistics has to offer. (Matt Wilson)
Keep up the good
work. Your projections software is a real time saver and adds to my
enjoyment as I prepare for draft day. (Roger Beckley)
Killed it this
year. Use any of my comments. (John Debbrecht)
Love the info,
especially the Prospect stuff. Didn't win the League because I
strayed during the draft and then had some key injuries. If I paid
attention to your ratings I would have done much better. (Bob
McCormack)
Lyle Logan is the
best and the primary reason I have been a Fantastic supporter for so
many years. (Bob Oberlin)
My first year
playing fantasy baseball. Use your program to draft, and the info
you provided in season to pull off some good trades and pickups. In
the playoffs and I doubt I would've been without you. Great
product. P.S Gavin Floyd may have killed me! lol (Brandon Fritz)
never been more
satisfied..like the pre-season predictions and daily news
updates..forecast & predictions very frequently are dead on accurate
(steven hollis)
No problem at all
with the software, the prob was with my managing of players.
(Matthew Martin)
No titles the
last 3 seasons, but my record is 55 and 16 over the last 3 years!
(David Powers)
Overall great job
and very useful and current material day after day. (John Malek)
Real time saver
for both preseason and in-season research. Information is helpful,
up to date and they have had a real knack of identifying rising
stars, which is a must for maximizing your draft strategy. VAM is
awesome too. (Brian Kokes)
Simply put,
Fantistics exceeded all expectations I had set and that is the
reason I come back each year. Not only from a fantasy perspective,
but for the sport of baseball as well. Incredible analysis on a
daily basis with tools readily available on the website to provide
unlimited insight from the pros down to the prospect level. Great
job, and as long as Fantistics is available I will without a doubt
be signing up each year. Thanks! (Kevin P)
Since I started
subscribing to Fantistics some 10 years ago, I've won my league 6
times....(Jim Reeves)
The best
pre-season draft software for both football and baseball-Hands
Down!!!! (Gerard Charlot)
The Fantistics
Football package is the greatest thing on earth for me - I use the
draft software, check out the pickups list each week, then use the
lineup projections. I wish the baseball package were more like that.
Maybe I am not in the normal target audience - I don't play in
multiple daily leagues and follow it closely. I am busy at work and
at home and I am in a league with some buddies. That 'difficulty
ranking' is useless - I don't have time to watch Sports Center every
day, just rank the players each week and tell me who to start.
(Brian Sprafka)
The reason I like
your service is that it operates on two levels. You can go for
quick and easy information like the 2 week pitching rotations or you
can go deeper with the pitching logs. Your insights help guide me
towards players I can use and the logs and charts help me decide if
I want to commit to them. Plus, the red and blue printing helps
tremendously on the logs. Often its the slightly above average
player whose season stats don't look good, but who has gotten hot or
has a home - road differential I can take advantage of that helps me
stay ahead of the others in my leagues. (Steven Flowers)
The selling point
to me has always been the preseason player values. I use the
projections to prepare for the most important day of the year for
our league...Auction day. (John Schmidt)
Third straight
win in my league (Dam Schons)
This helps an old
man fulfill his love of America's greatest pasttime, BASEBALL.
(Donald Yerrick)
This is a great
web site. The preseason set up, and use of your software during
live auctions is exceptional. (Mike Andrus)
This is the third
year I have been with you and I've finally mastered the numbers.
Player injury kept me from making the playoffs last year, but this
year I won it all! I have so much fun reading the commentaries and
analyzing the stats, I feel as if my Dad were still alive and we can
still enjoy baseball together on a daily
basis.
******************NOTE: On question 41: I have a DROID and I would
LOVE to see an APP!************ (Will Fritz)
This was my
second year and I am still learning the in season tools from the web
site. I love the daily analysis. Keep up the great work. (Joe
Goletz)
This will be the
second championship in a row. Drafted 1st one year and last the 2nd
year. My strategy depends on Fantistics information to locate and
ride hot players. This year I led from the first day to the last
day of the season. Thanks Fantistics! (Ronald McCowen)
Very good and
helpful site, I look forward to the 2011 version. (Jeff Imes)
We followed the
VAM strategy and loaded up on good hitters early, knowing we could
get good pitchers in the middle to late rounds by following
Fantstic's recommendations. We left the draft with Votto, Carlos
Gonzalez, Morneau, Ubaldo, Hamels, and Liriano to lead our team to
victory! (Craig R)
When it comes to
your Baseball program I am a 100% believer... especially for my
auction league. It helps me determine in the middle to end of the
draft when to overpay a little for a player by keeping an eye on his
VAM and $ value versus how other players are being overpaid for by
other franchises! Thanks for what you do. (Joe Kibe)
WHY DID MORNEAU
SLIDE INTO A KNEE??? WHY DIDN'T SOMEONE OR ANYONE FROM ANYWHERE
TELL ME TO KEEP BAUTISTA AND HIS HOME RUN BINGE OF 50 HOMERS THIS
SEASON????? WHEN DOES THE REAL TRAVIS SNIDER SHOW UP TO PLAY AND IN
WHAT YEAR???? (G LITTLEJOHN)
Won my 5x5 league
by 25 points due in large part to FAAB bids on players touted by
Fantistics (Tom Yeggy)
Wow! I got Joey
Votto and Carlos Gonzalez, Nelson Cruz, or Francisco Liriano. All
paid huge dividends. My pitchinbg was great:B Myers, C Hamels, F
Liriano, J Lester, Y Gallardo, R Oswalt (R), W Rodriguez (R) I did
still draft Grady Sizemore, bit still won.... (Jeff Rochna)
Year in year out
customer in both baseball & Football. Appreciate your teams efforts
and statistics to help us make better player selections during the
Draft and/or during the season via acquistion pick ups. THANKS
(Scott Grundtvig)
You can use
anything I said above. I'd add only that I've been at this over 20
seasons and the last time i won was 18 years ago, but I'm right
there, competing for the Pennant in late September. Win it all or
not, you made it the most fun I've had in a dozen years. Many
thanks. (James Morgan)
You cats are
something else! (Roger Stanley)
You guys are
great keep up the good work (William Harvey)
You guys are the
best. Definitely worth the money. I'm hooked. (Seth Gatchell, Jr.)
You guys are
under rated but do as good a job as anyone!!! (Larry Wolfe)
You have all the
tools from the draft throughout the season. Everything I need to win
is here, it is up to me to use the proper tools I need to win my
leagues. In the off-season I look at what I did not utilize and try
to figure out what might help me better next year, knowing that you
are the most complete package out there. (Joseph McCluskey)
You have the most
accurate rotations anywhere. Thanks Lyle. You mentioned a handful of
players that Fantistics was big on, but I didn't buy the projections
and never saw such a list. For me a list of players that are
projected to perform much better than last year is key . It's all
about the bang for the buck. I play CDM (Fanball now) and the
salaries control everything.I read your daily news/notes faithfully.
Those and the rotations are what keeps me coming back. Notes
starting earlier in preseason would be great. I didn't rate your
writers because I don't pay much attention to who writes what.I just
take the site as a whole. (Duane Miller)
You rated Ubaldo
Jiminez highly, and we drafted him about 80th overall and ran with
him for half a season before trading him (you had concerns about his
peripherals). We didn't draft Votto and Butler when you said we
should have, and you were spot on. You were high on a Vladdy
Guerrero bounceback, and we weren't. If we'd made those moves when
you said we should have, we probably would have finished first, not
second. When we deviate from your rankings, we usually pay a price.
(Bill Stuart)
You're touting of
John Axford is the sole reason I'm finishing in third this year,
without him I'm out of the money. I claimed him way before he was on
any other team's radar. My winnings will pay for next 10 years of
fantastics! (jim kauss)
Your daily
reports gave me critical info on up and coming position players and
pitchers that proved a great advantage during the season (Posey,
Santana and others drafted while still in minors; Zambrano after his
rehab, etc.). The Friday closer reports and Sunday injury reports
were also critical. I never did quite figure out how to "quality
check" the plus, neutral and minus ratings for two start pitchers to
see if it really helped. All in all, I think you have the best
fantasy baseball player updates in the industry (and believe me I've
tried them all). I'll definitely be back next year. (Steve Nation)
Your preseason
software identified undervalued players like Cargo, Choo, Ubaldo,
Oswalt, Hughes which help me draft the best fantasy baseball team in
history. I went 164-58 and finshed 35 games ahead of second place.
Lost to an extreme spot starter in the playoffs, but that's my own
fault. Fantistics dominates. (Mike Davis)
Your product
allowed me to pick up key players before my competition. Fantistics
is fantastic! (mark kramer)
Your projections
are uncanny. I like your approach - focusing on playing time versus
randomly throwing out projections. I have used your service for
about five years, and I have always finished in the money.
Ultimately the difference between finishing in first or eighth place
is a combination of not only preparation, which your service helps
me do, but additionally luck in avoiding injuries, in avoiding
players for teams who end up mailing it in for the last two months,
and other stuff like that over which I have little if any control.
It is kind of like when I took the bar exam - I prepared as much as
I could, and if that isn't enough, then at least I did all that I
could. That approach worked for the bar exam, and it has worked for
me in fantasy football and baseball by using your service for the
past few years. (Paul Dykstra)
