Fantistics Baseball Customer Testimonials
In our 2007 season ending
survey we asked subscribers if they were interested in submitting a
testimonial which we could publish:
(in
alphabetical order)
After a couple
years out of the winner circle I am back....Overall, there is no
doubt that the fantistics approach offers a definitive edge vs the
competition. No doubt that my strong track record is directly
related to my fantistics subscription. (Michael Terner)
As in "value"
drafting, fantistics is a "value" prognosticator!!!!!!! (Rob Dykhoff)
Back in the money
this year after a terrible 2006! Fantistics "help" on pitching
projections was key to drafting/maintaining a great staff. Achieved
39 of 40 max points. (Ron Siemers)
Best overall
service available. Complete coverage of all area's needed to
contend. Thanks again for my second championship year. (Rod
Steves)

Daily updates a
key to free agents and call-ups. The difference in winning. (Jim
Kaszuba)
Excellent
pre-season projections, so helpful in the auction. Like the daily
email updates, saves a lot of time and gives enough info so that if
I want/need to research deeper, can do so. Tremendous amount of
info along with different ideas and analysis that give subscribers
an edge. Plus, articles that gives a different perspective and ways
to approach the geme. (Randy Bressler)
Excellent service
which I highly recommend. Daily e-mails are a huge help in spotting
trends and players. Will subscribe next year too! Thanks! (Jim
Gillingham)
Fantastics is the
best in fantasy baseball information (James Matlock)
Fantistics
baseball helped me win my league. The in season news, players
trackers and weekly line-up sections were a big help in choosing
between tight situations. (Albert Evangelista)
Fantistics gave
me the everyday tools to be very competitive in my Fantasy Baseball
leagues! (Dale Grogan)

Insider Baseball gives you a dynamic set of tools which allow you to
truly succeed in any and all leagues in which you participate. From
the draft software, to the very last daily email, you will enjoy far
better results as a result of this incredible set of resources.
Insider baseball is the difference between middle of the pack, and
Championship performance. Thanks so very much for your efforts and
knowledge. Maz (Bob Masloski)

Fantistics is an
outstanding tool to use for in season management. I looked forward
to the daily updates which were on the money. Keep up the good
work. (Steve Krebs)
Fantistics is far
superior than anything you can ever get your hands on. If you want
to keep on losing your league or coming up short without Fantistics,
keep using the same tools and keep being a loser. But if you want
to win, over and over again, switch to Fantistics now! (Matt Wilson)
Fantistics is
great but I don't want to tell anyone about it for fear my
competition will use the service as well. (Jeff March)
Fantistics is
great! (Joseph Pawlisz)
Fantistics is
like using HGH and roids without cheating! (Bob Shinn)
For every Lew
Ford in 06 and David Bush this year there are more like Vazquez and
Escobar and Valverde and oh yeah Fielder that you guys recommend
that really come through. I used the software in all of my drafts
and it really helped me with whom to select and more importantly
when to select them. Seeing who was left by position compared to
other positions was, well, fantastic. It showed in my leagues. You
can never win them all, but I did pretty good. (Jeff Mangold)
Got the help I
expected. (Melvin Welles)
Great data you
provide.... (Mike Clark)
Great Job !!!
(Stuart Shay)
Great job as
always guys. (Richard Drucis)
Great job as
usual. I am looking forward to another great year next year. Thanks
(Eric Weinstein)
Great software.
Won both leagues I play in. In my primary year, won for the 4th
time in 5 years...and 5 years is how long I have been with
Fantistics. (Jeff Taylor)
Great tools.
Draft software is awesome. Easy to use real time during a live
draft. Fantastic! (Scott Blucher)
great!! hell, no
one can anticipate...wells, bay having the off years they did!!
(STEVE HOLLIS)

Hope to be here
for the 2008 season (john malek)
I already sent in
a letter. You may use it. (Kurt Cartwright)
I appreciate what
you do. keep up the good work. (Grady Holt)
I believe I'm a
charter subscriber -- I certainly plan to be a subscriber again in
2008. (Alan Peterson)
I found the
software very helpful. It eliminates the flipping of pages in a
magazine and will be the most current projections as magazines are
printed months before. You would be surprised at how many players
slip your mind during the draft and end up on your competitors
team. Third season in fantasy baseball (private money league) and
my first championship. League was not even close. I would
recommend this to others (just not those in my league). Please do
not post my last name on the website if using this testimonial.
(James M.)
I found the
website by accident four years ago when I was doing research on the
Internet. Since I didn't have much time to research players during
the off-season, I thought I'd give you guys a try. Four years
later, I have no intention of stopping using Fantastics as a source
of baseball information. I love using the Preseason Draft Software.
I love bringing my laptop to the draft. I could see which players
were still available at the end of our draft. The best part is they
improve it every year. The writers are the best. Although they can
sometimes throw a ton of data at you, they explain it well and how
it applies to evaluating players during the season. My favorite is
Lou. The way he writes about minor leaguers is pure poetry. I also
use the Daily News and Analysis Update emails. What a help those
are!! Replacing injured players during the season can be
difficult. Knowing which players are playing and which ones are hot
has helped me pick up many free agents who have gone on to help my
teams. Keep up the great job all!! Can't wait for next season.
(Dan McCord)
I found your
projections especially useful for the selections that I made in
rounds 3 - 10 where I drafted a number of undervalued players (Aaron
Harang, Handley Ramirez, Garret Atkins, Ian Kinsler, Kelvim Escobar)
that were overlooked or unknown by my competitors. I found Yovani
Gallardo in Prospect Central. (Mike Janosky)
I finished 1st in
my league again because of your fantistics. (Tom Duggan)
I had a decent
competitive advantage over other owners in my league several years
ago, but they've all made great strides in fantasy baseball skills
and knowledge. After a couple seasons of not winning, I looked to
Fantistics for an edge because our scoring system was getting
stranger by the year, and the drafting tool would allow me to
customize projections based on our scoring. In two years using
Fantistics, I have had a nice string of championships in several
leagues. (Rick Casares)
I hate to give
you guys public press as you are a very valuable secret weapon for
me every season. Preseason forecasting was very good this season as
I won both leagues using this service! (John S.)
I have been a
member for six years and love your service. In a league that
started in 1988, the winner and runner up both used your software at
the draft (craig couch)
I have been a
subscriber for 4 years and if it wasn't not realizing the playoff's
were 2 weeks in my 1st year I would have won the Championship in all
4 years! I can not imagine a season without Fantistics! Don't
think I'm in a bush league. The last 2 years have been won by
tie-breakers. See you next year..... (Tanker Cook)
I have to say
that Fantistics.com makes Fantasy Baseball unfair to the other teams
in our league. They show up with their magazines that have been
outdated for 6 months and my partner and I just grin ... : ) We
joined a 22 year old Rotisserie keeper league and have placed 3rd,
3rd, & and now 2nd right out of the shoot. They hate us, and it is
all because of Fantistics. (James Conwell)

I have tried so
many sites, systems, etc. to try and grab that "edge" in my fantasy
baseball leagues. After using your system for the first time, I can
say with wild enthusiasm that yours is by far the best! You not
only help me almost pull off the win against some of the most
competitive fantasy gamers in the world (2nd place in ESPN Uber Wars
league), but you also helped me garner "98" of the possible "100"
points in a ten team roto league. (I hope you don't mind that I
resist telling my competitors about your amazing program.;>) (Dennis
McCracken)
I have used the
projection software for 3 years.....I have won my league now for 3
years straight! (Carlos Figueiredo)
I have won it 8
of the last 10 years. No other player has won it back to back
years. Fantistics has definitely helped with drafting and managing
my team. My league now is even trying to jokingly vote on reducing
the amount of players I can keep for the next few years just to make
it even. Thanks. (GRANT BURROW)
I haven't lost
yet, since i've joined up with you guys (4 years). (Jim Kaufmann)
I like what I use
but do not have time to understand all of the stats that you
publish. (Lorne Weber)
I look forward
each fay to reading the latest info. (Edward Bull)
I love this
software and the services that you provide, the only problem is that
I get so focused on Baseball that I don't prepare enough prior to
the start of fantasy football season. (Kevin White)
I love you guys!
(Andy Progi)
I loved the
pitching section - it is great for determining my rotation. Always
timely and dependable. I look forward to using the projections
section next season. (Brett McGovern)
I really did like
the draft software, but for a guy that drafted (Bill Hall)(Felipe
López )(Andrew Jones) and Nick Swisher it seemed like I must have
urinated in the fantasy Gods punch bowl. Comming in second with this
team was a true test of the Free Agent wire(Corey Hart)(Brendan
Harris)(Hunter Pence)and my fav. Rick Ankiel all helped me get
there. I will most certainly be a member next year. (Tim Garriott)
I really think
your site allows me to stay up to date with info and a step ahead of
most other managers!!!! This season is a great example as I will win
the League and some late moves were the key... (Mike Spellacy)
I started using
your service 7 years ago, and have come back every year!!! Enough
Said!!! (Joe Carey)
I think you
service is fantastic and distinguishes itself from other services
with the depth of analyses, drafting software, and all the excellent
tools provided. But most of all, I think the greatest benefit, is
all that I have learned from your analysts. (Paul Hoh)
I think your
staff does as good a job as possible in analyzing stats and making
predictions and adding your opinions. (Joel Wagler)
I was very
impressed for the most part. I will use your draft software again
next year.... (Roy Schonberg)
I will be back
next Year. The knowledge and insight was invaluable, but another key
component that was beneficial was the never give up mentality.
Thanks again. (Robert Fiester)
I won in a very
competitive league this year and would not have but for Fantistics
(Rob Porcarelli)
I won the
championship in my MLB.com league and finished 1st and 3rd on Yahoo
leagues. Specific instances of my being alerted to excellent
pickup opportunities were the email from Fantastics about Ryan
Braun, daily notes about Kurt Suzuki and Updates on Zack Greinke at
the end of the year. Without the daily updates I know I would not
have finished at the top of any league. Thanks to your draft
software my keeper league team has moved from the cellar to
competitive status and with your help next year I expect to improve
even more. (Alan Duncan)
I would find it
difficult to compete without the help of Fantistics. Particularly
the work of Lyle Logan. The 14 day Pitching Rotations were right on
target all year long. The man must work hard at being correct! (Bob
Oberlin)
I would highly
recommend the service - but not to teams in my league - just
kidding. It is great. (Jim Horton)
I would like to
see a weekly article that is great on another football service
called-Players to trade for/ players to trade away- with some great
reasons behind the players selected for each player that week. (Mike
Bensinger)

I've been in the
same surly NL-only 5x5 league since 1985. This year, I won for the
first time -- 30 points in front of 2nd place. It's easy to see I
got some serious help. Your draft-day software, player projections,
and expert insight & commentary are the best in the business.
Thanks so much Insider Baseball. (James Hurst)
I've been using
your site for 3 years now and have finished in the top 1 or 2 every
year. Lots of data and insight throughout the year that is easy to
find and use. (Terry LaFreniere)
I've never won a
league until this year (I've come close many times) and without
Fantistics I don't think I'd be able to have done it. The e-mails
are so key on a daily basis and the weekly rotation was the final
factor in my team winning it all. I've tried many other services
throughout the years, but nothing has come close to matching up with
you guys. You are there until the very last day which is more than
I can say for other sites who decide to decrease their coverage once
football and fantasy baseball playoffs begin. Thanks again for all
your help! (Mike Corazzini)
I've used
Fantistics for three years and the worst I have finished is 3rd out
of 13. I am on the verge of winning my first championship with the
help of Fantistics. I have used several other projection sites in
the past (paid & free), but Fantistics blows them out of the water.
I used to find myself happy if I could finish in the top 5, but now
I am expecting to finish in the Top 3 every year. I play in a league
that is competing in its 26th year. All but 3 of us have been
participating in this league for at least ten years. This is the
best league I have found, with the most competent competition, but
I still feel like I have an edge using Fantistics. Thanks Fantistics
crew for all you do. Keep up the great work. (David Bryant)
In addition to
helping me enjoy fantasy baseball, you've increased my enjoyment of
'real' baseball. I appreciate that. You may someday have to answer
to friends of mine who like baseabll but don't play fanatasy who are
sick of hearing from me about BHIP% and 'regression to the mean.'
Thanks form Joe in Milwaukee, where, in 'real baseball,' we
redefined the concept of regressing to the mean from June 29th until
September 28th. Wait til next year. Dump the cartoonish fonts,
please. keep up the great work. (joe berman)
In my opinion,
you win or lose a league not on the basis of your first string but
on the basis of the secondary and tertiary players you have to
select to bring up in the case of injury. I think your analysis is
particularly helpful there. You got me to take players like Youk,
Church, DeJesus and pitchers like Buehrle and Lowe that filled in
admirabley for injured players. About your only big screwup for me
was Bush. (Alan Kress)
Info is great.
Projections are as good as one could expect. Can't play the game
without you! (Ken Haley)
Insider Baseball
has become a welcome, daily companion throughout each season. For
the past several years, I have relied on the insights and
interpretations of the writers as well as the various statistical
formats for draft preparation. Insider Baseball is a winner. (Rick
Goff)
It is not so much
that Fantistics is number one, it's just that they are so much
better than whoever is number two. (Gregory Smith)
I've been looking
for a site like this one for the last few years...... Fantistics
InsiderBaseball.com helped put me over the top this year...Thanks
guys! (Bill Reitz)
Keep it up, I
will be back for 08 (Jason Gerding)
Keep up the great
work!!! (Ron Werts III)
Love the
service! Its been a fun year and the monthly analysis and 1st half
and 2nd half performers is a really useful piece. (Mark Denard)
Love the service,
hope you keep costs reasonable, am a loyal client, thanks. (paul
pires)
love the
service... i ran out of time to follow... keep the player updates
non-inclusive of the news items.... just give links to news with
your indicators. (Heidi Labritz)
Loved the site,
great timely info helped me grab Ryan Braun, Hunter Pence, Yovani
Gallardo to get me over the top (Steven Rohlfing)
Lyle does a GREAT
job on the SP pitching probables. Thanks for a great baseball
season. See you next year. (Donald Lindsay)
My team was very
competitive 1st half. Pitching injuries helped me to a 4th place
finish in my 10 team league. This was my first baseball fantasy
team. You gave me a great start! With new understanding,
commitment, and knowledge I expect to contend for the title next
year with the help Fantastics InsiderBaseball.com. (Ronald McCowen)
Not a
testimonial, but comment -- I would like to see each of your
contributing editors (Drew, Paul, Joe, etc.) keep an ongoing,
updated list of "good ideas" throughout the season. I know you
release the buy/sell list from time to time throughout the season,
but if each of you guys could maintain a "best 5 ideas" list, it
would be very helpful. For example, one of you was screaming for us
to trade for Garret Atkins (a great call). Someone else was
suggesting a dump of El Duque (another great call). I saw these
because I happened to be tracking these players. I may have missed
some other good ideas because the sheer volume of information is so
high throughout the season, it is sometimes difficult for us to take
the time to keep track of all of the information you make
available. Thanks in advance. (Kevin Robins)
Obviously you
have one satisfied customer here.... I think that much of what you
and your staff does is crucial to those of us who compete in both a
quality and quantity level. You offer a time saving informational
source along with some really quality information and analysis.
There is very little more that could be done barring having a scout
in each minor league park. Personally I get it, but I think many of
your writers may have eclipsed the typical players level of
perception. As I have for years I wish you guys all the
success you can find in this industry, you have a long time customer
here and I am always willing to contribute. Keep up the good work,
keep hiring the quality writers like Massimo, and keep the e-mails
coming. See you next season. Bennett Fischthal Hardways (Bennett
Fischthal)
One of the best
services for the serious fantasy baseball competitor. Great tools
and insightful analysis from spring training through the last day of
the season. Thanks for making 2007 another successful year for my
teams. (Mike Miller)
Our highly
competive league came down to the last day of stats and A. Pujols
went 0 for 5 and cost me the championship. I use the projections
during our auction draft and I am very pleased with the results. The
daily updates keep me on track. I am and will remain a dedicated
Fantistics subscriber. Thanks for a great season. Ken Cain (Ken
Cain)
Over the last 3
yrs,2 leagues,3 championships 1 pending, 2 runnerups and those were
the first of the 3 yrs. I for one will continue to use fantistics
for my fantasy baseball needs. Thanx Daryl (Daryl Berryman)
OVERALL EXCELLENT
SERVICE!!!!!. (Larry Wolfe)
overall hitters
projections were very good. unfortunately two other players in my
league subscribe to your service. (richard hahn)
overall I find
the service helpful (tim tehan)
During the survey we asked
subscribers what their impression was of our 2007 player
projections:
Please don't use
my full name...... Fantistics is the BEST site for all your
baseball info...they cover each league from top to bottom. With out
there info I KNOW for a fact that I wouldn't have done as well this
season. Thanks guys, looking forward to next season. Mike from
California (michael s)
Since joining
Fantistics, I have won back-to-back championships. You guys seem to
be one step ahead of everyone else. Thanks for a great season, and
I'll see you again in 2008!!! (Jean Legere)
Thank you (Joseph
Termini)
Thank you for the
work. I use it each year to keep informed. Your service is great.
(Tim Campbell)
Thanks
Fantistics, your site is the best. Count me in for 2008! (Jeff Imes)
Thanks for
another great year (Dean Bigioni)
Thanks for
putting together a great product!! (Chris Spere)
Thanks...AGAIN.
Football and Baseball championships in the same year. Not playing
football this year, but did give a co-worker your web-site. (Dan
Rogowski)
The best thing
about Fantistics is helping me discover recent (or imminent)
call-ups that might still be under the radar, usually pitchers. In
the past season, I've gotten Liriano, Lincecum and Gallardo for next
to nothing. (Allan Keiter)
the daily e-mails
are a godsend. thank you very much and i shall be a customer in
2008. (Mike Griffin)
The draft day
advice and the daily updates gave me the information necessary to
make the intelligent decisions in order to remain competitive all
season long. Baseball Fantastics enhances my baseball insight so
that I can contend instead of pretend. (Don Hallwachs)
The pre-draft
information was invaluable. I have four children and a demanding
career that limits the amount of draft prep I can do. Your player
evaluations were awesome! I'll be back next year! (Rich Bentel)
The pitching
rotation info alone is worth the price. Rotoworld is way off most
weeks, the CDM league that I play in isn't bad on rotations. While I
check the others, you are my main source . The Sunday e-mail update
is also excellent. I will definitely be back next season. (David
Press)
The software was
a success and I finished in second place a thirteen team league. It
took until September 30th to reach this plateau and I barely
squeezed in front of the third place team. It was amazing to see the
climb from the depths of our standings since many of our offensive
players had off-years…JD Drew, Bay, Hafner, and Mauer and to a
lesser extent Sexson. As for our pitchers we had some significant
injuries to B Myers, BJ Ryan and Gordon. The value of Fantistics
draft advisor was clearly evident during the reserve roster
selections. Three good fantasy players that were not drafted as
active roster players were available. I drafted these players and
two played big roles during the year. During the season I relied
significantly on the daily blogs and the rankings by position. The
rankings by position were especially useful for free agent
acquisitions and identifying trade opportunities. The hot prospects
lists landed us Braun and Lincecum very early in the season. We
could not have finished in second without Fantistics as it gave us
the edge over the sophisticated owners in our fantasy league. I
recommend the package highly. Will I be back next year…..sign
me up. (Bob Dickinson)
This is my 22nd
year in a keeper league. The heads up on the prospects, especially
pitchers has afforded my team extra bucks to spend on hitters. I was
able to be ahead not just on injuries but on replacements for
injured players. My competitors are scratching their heads on why I
picked up Embree. My American League team won by so much that there
were no trade dumpings this year. My National League team is in 1st
as I write this, with one day to go. Thanks for helping me with the
sweep. (Joe Cucci)
THIS MAKES ME A
WINNER 8 OUT OF 18 YEARS. I JUST HOPE THE OTHERS NEVER FIND OUT
THAT I HAVE YOUR SERVICE. OURS IS VERY COMPETITIVE KEEPER LEAGUE
AND THE END RESULT COULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT, ONE HOMER, TWO RBI,
TWO WINS, ONE SAVE, ONE STOEN BASE COULD HAVE ALL GONE THE OTHER WAY
DURING THE LAST THREE DAYS. (G WHITNEY L.)
Very good. Will
be back next year! (Jeff Stolze)
whole package was
as amazing as ever, and even though i finished 10th of 12 in my main
league it is a keeper and so was looking towards next year.Your
stats and information meant me being able to make deals to end up
with Utley,Sizemore,Crawford and Vlad as my keepers. Thank you. :) (keith
watson)
You guys
absolutely nailed it projecting Hanley over Reyes as the #1 SS.
Gutsy move. (Brian Greene)
You guys are
great...The last 3 years two 1st place finishes and this year 2nd
place and was tied for 1st with 2 days to go...Fantistics Insider
Baseball, I wouldn't play without it! (Dave K)
you guys warned
me about Jason Bay..........see you next season (John Logue)
