On today's SiriusXM show, myself and Lou Blasi will start dissecting the first statistic that has met enough prerequisites to become reliable: strikeout rate (K%)!
Based on research from some very smart people (see here), we have a roadmap for when specific stats become reliable. Now that we're about two full weeks into the season, most regular players are at or near 60 plate appearances, which is the magic number when it comes to validating K%.
