Jose Ramirez (3B - CLE) Ramirez collected just one hit in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Brewers, but it happened to be his 19th home run. Ramirez continues to solidify his spot both as one of the best players in the Majors, as well as a first round fantasy pick in 2019 with his performance. The 25-year-old does a bit of everything and will be a nice consolation prize for those who don't get the number one pick. On the season, Ramirez is hitting .298/.395/.631 with 42 RBI, 43 runs and seven stolen bases. His OBP is helped along by his 13.4 BB%. His .273 is a bit down from his 2017 mark, which means he figures to get even better once some of those batted balls start dropping in.
J.D. Martinez (OF - BOS) Martinez became the first player to reach 20 home runs in 2018 with his blast in the Red Sox 6-0 win over the Tigers Tuesday. The prize free agent in 2018 continues to be solid if he can stay healthy. His slash sits at .318/.377/.659, along with a .430 wOBA, a wRC+ of 173, and a career high of 52.5% hard contact. Overall, he is justifying the huge free agent deal Boston was willing to hand over. He is also paying major dividends for your fantasy roster, if health is on his side.
Miguel Andujar (3B - NYY) Andujar had himself a day at the plate in the Yankees' 7-2 beatdown of the Blue Jays Tuesday. The 23-year-old went 2 for 4 with a grand slam on the day. Overall, Andujar is slashing .305/.330/.542 with seven homers and 26 RBI. He is living up to the hype of being one of the top youngsters in the organization along with Gleyber Torres. The main knock on his game is the lack of walks, which sits at just 3.5%. If his .345 BABIP takes a dive, it will have an impact on his OBP. There will be some ups and downs in his first full season, but the future is bright for the young Yankee.
Teoscar Hernandez (OF - TOR) The rookie smacked his ninth homer of 2018, despite the Jays' losing 7-2 to the Yankees on Tuesday. Hernandez is slashing .254/.300/.525 with 25 RBI and 26 runs. Hernandez has shown his pop potential when in the lineup, but his 5.3% BB% along with his .281 BABIP are limiting his OBP. His BB% will figure to hover around that number for his career, however, he should see a bit of a BABIP increase at some point. He figures to be a solid piece for the Jays to build around and is carving out a regular role in a crowded Jays outfield.
Corey Kluber (SP - CLE) Kluber tallied his ninth victory of 2018 in the 3-2 win over the Brewers Tuesday. The former Cy Young winner went seven innings, allowing just one earned run on seven hits, while striking out seven and walking none. The outing gives him an eye popping 95/10 K/BB ratio, along with just 20 earned runs allowed in 91.2 innings pitched. With the mess that is the Indians staff, Kluber remains the one sure thing. His 2.85 SIERA shows just how good he has been at getting outs on his own. He remains an ace for your fantasy squad.
