Jacob deGrom-Mets-SP
Jacob deGrom went 7 IP and gave up 0 ER on 4 H, 3 BB, and 99 K's against the Angels. He is sporting a 3.56 ERA (3.16 FIP) through nine starts. His peripheral stats are excellent with a 32.4% K, 15.3% SwStr, and .246 AVG against. DeGrom had given up 12 ER in his previous three starts, which ballooned his ERA over four. His skills are elite, he just needs to do a better job of limiting hard contact (37%). His control has been the biggest culprit and he has shown in the past that he has plus control/command. Buying low is going to be hard but his skills suggest an elite pitcher from a fantasy perspective from here on out.
Aaron Altherr-Phillies-OF
Aaron Altherr was 0-4 with a RBI against the Pirates. Altherr just like his teammate Tommy Joseph has been extremely hot in the month of May. He is hitting .353 with 6 HR and 16 RBI. This has been backed by a 19% K and 16% BB over that same time period. Altherr has played his way into a full time role, which should allow his power/speed profile to play very nicely. He has the potential to go 20 HR/15 SB with an average that won't kill you.
Jeremy Hellickson-Phillies-SP
Jeremy Hellickson went 6 IP and gave up 1 ER on 2 H, 1 BB, and 2 K's against the Pirates. He had to leave early due to an injury while batting. Hellickson has a 3.44 ERA (5.50 FIP) through nine starts. His skills do not support an ERA under 4.00. His strikeout rate has fallen from 20% last year to 10% this year, which is well below the league average. His swinging strike rate has also fallen to 7.4%, which is not a good sign for his strikeout rate going forward. This has led to hitters making 85% contact against him which is going to make it hard to limit the damage going forward. It is time to move from Hellickson before regression hits him hard.
Michael Wacha-Cardinals-SP
Michael Wacha went 6 IP and gave up 0 ER on 4 H, 3 BB, and 5 K's against the Giants. Wacha now has a 2.74 ERA (3.71 FIP) over seven starts. He has shown nice skills to start the year. He has a 23.5% K with an excellent 6.2% BB rate. He is also limiting hard contact (23%), which is a good sign for the righty. Wacha comes with injury risk due to his shoulder, but he has shown this year that when healthy he is an above average starter. The increased strikeout rate is backed by an increase in his swinging strike rate to 10%, which is another plus. At this point we'll cross our fingers and hope his shoulder cooperates.

Chris Young-Red Sox-OF
Chris Young finds his way into the Red Sox lineup anytime they are facing a left-handed pitcher. He has a career .364 wOBA and .212 ISO against LHP. Sean Manaea has shown the ability to miss bats at the major league level but he has struggled with RHB (.321 wOBA & 1.17 HR/9) Fanduel: $ 2,400
