Ivan Nova-Pirates-SP
Ivan Nova went 3 IP and gave up 3 ER on 9 H, 0 BB, and 2 K's against the Reds. Nova now has a 4.13 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, and 19% K. He has posted a 2.79 ERA with a 17% K-BB ratio in the second half. Nova has really benefited from the National League and PNC Park. He has seen his HR/FB rate drop significantly (21%-13%). This was his main problem in New York as he has always had good control and the ability to induce weak contact (52% GB). Nova has starts with the Nationals and Cubs to end the year. Both matchups are tough on paper, but both are at home, which is a great park for Nova.
Dan Straily-Reds-SP
Dan Straily went 6 IP and gave up 3 ER on 5 H, 4 BB, and 5 K's against the Pirates. Straily now has a 3.83 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, and 20.3% K. He has pitched very well this season for the Reds. He has posted a 3.03 ERA in the second half. The skills behind the recent surge are encouraging as well. He has seen his strikeout rate rise to 22% and his K-BB reach 16%. Straily's advanced metrics do not like him to continue this level of success, because he is walking a fine line when it comes to his 54% FB rate in the second half. This is especially troublesome considering he pitches half of his games in one of the best parks for power in Great American Ballpark. I would avoid Straily down the stretch as he finishes the season with matchups on the road against the Cubs and Brewers.
Odubel Herrera-Phillies-OF
Odubel Herrera was 2-4 with 2 R and his 14th HR against the Marlins. He is hitting .476 with 2 SB over his last seven games. On the year he is hitting .285 with 14 HR and 22 SB. Herrera has been a pleasant surprise this year for the Phillies and the fantasy community. He has a very solid all-around game when it comes to fantasy. He does a little bit of everything. He could come close to a 15 HR/25 SB season, which is extremely valuable considering where you drafted him. The 22 SB alone are extremely valuable with the decline in stolen bases across the league. Look for a strong finish from Herrera in his sophomore campaign.
Alex Reyes-Cardinals-SP
Alex Reyes went 7 IP and gave up 0 ER on 4 H, 2 BB, and 6 K's against the Giants. Reyes now has a 1.03 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, and 30% K through three starts. The young right-hander has excellent stuff with plus velocity and the ability to miss bats. He's registered a 12% SwStr through three starts, which is a small sample size but it is still a glimpse of his bright future. The fact that the Cardinals have a good track record of getting the most out of their young pitchers is always encouraging as well. He has a tough matchup with the Cubs next time out, but an excellent matchup with the Reds to end the season. Reyes is someone to keep your eye on for next year as a high upside arm.

Danny Espinosa-Nationals-SS
Danny Espinosa has been pushed to the background with the emergence of Trea Turner, but he has been good against LHP over his career. He has a .332 wOBA and .196 ISO against LHP over the past three seasons. Wei-Yin Chen has given up .340 wOBA and 19 HR to RHB. DraftKings: $3,000
