Kyle Hendricks-Cubs-SP
Kyle Hendricks went 7.1 IP and gave up 1 ER on 3 H, 0 BB, and 4 K's against the Athletics. Hendricks is in the middle of a Cy Young type season for the Cubs. He has a 2.17 ERA with a 1.02 WHIP and 21.4% K. Hendricks SIERA sits at 3.85, which is 1.5 runs over his ERA. Hendricks is benefiting from a low BABIP (.256) and high LOB% (79%). The good news is that this is a career year for Hendricks, so regression is unlikely to set in. He does an excellent job of limiting baserunners and inducing weak contact (52% GB, 26% Soft). Hendricks is at the height of his value in dynasty leagues, which means he could be a good trade candidate. In re-draft leagues, just enjoy the ride as he has likely put you in position to win your league.
Billy Hamilton-Reds-OF
Billy Hamilton was 3-4 with 3 R and 4 SB in the Reds 7-3 victory over the Pirates. Hamilton has really picked it up the second half. He has moved up to the leadoff spot for the Reds and has excelled. He is hitting .284 with 17 SB in 20 second half games. Hamilton needs to hit for average to get on as he does not have real strong OBP skills (.298 OBP). We know what he can do when he gets on, but you can't steal first. He is walking more and hitting the ball harder in the second half. It is likely just a hot streak, but one that has major fantasy implications due to his stolen base totals and the shortage of steals across the league.
Tanner Roark-Nationals-SP
Tanner Roark went 7 IP and gave up 0 ER on 5 H, 3 BB, and 5 K's against the Giants. Roark has a 2.88 ERA with a 1.17 WHIP and 20.5% K. Roark has a league average strikeout rate as well as a league average walk rate, which is why his ERA is a full run lower than his SIERA (4.04 SIERA). If you look into his SwStr there isn't much there to predict an uptick in strikeouts, which would be a huge boost to his fantasy value. Roark is someone who is likely to regress closer to his SIERA than his traditional stats are indicating. He gets the Braves next time out, which has been a plus matchup for anyone this season.
Adam Wainwright-Cardinals-SP
Adam Wainwright went 6 IP and gave up 6 ER on 9 H, 3 BB, and 3 K's against the Braves. Wainwright is no longer an elite pitcher, but everyone knows that at this point. The 34 yr. old has 4.34 ERA with a 1.29 WHIP and 19.1% K. The elite stuff is no longer there as he has a below average strikeout rate and his SwStr is below average as well. He is a gritty veteran who will keep the Cardinals in games, but that has no use to us in the fantasy community. Wainwright's advanced stats believe that he is pitching to his true talent (4.14 SIERA). At this point, Adam Wainwright is a league average pitcher, which is hard to write, but is true.

Tommy Pham-Cardinals-OF
Tommy Pham has been excellent against LHP over his career. He has a .372 wOBA and .259 ISO against LHP. Opposing pitcher Cody Reed has struggled with RHB this year (.408 wOBA, 2.73 HR/9). DraftKings: $3,600
