Ian Desmond, SS, OF, TEX
Desmond finally got on the board with his first homerun of the season on Thursday and also doubled in the contest. Don't look now but Desmond has gone 4-11 his last three games with 3 XBH's in the process, his first 3 XBH's of the season. He has also scored a run in five consecutive games. Undoubtedly, many Desmond owners have already cut bait after his .109/.180/.109 slash lie through 12 games to start the season, but for now I don't see any reason to think he's not the same player he was last year. His BABIP is much lower at .205 after 6 straight years over .300, but that should equalize and we should go back to seeing the 20-HR player we've been seeing the past several years.
Ryan Madson, RP, OAK
On Thursday, it was Madson picking up the save for the A's, after Sean Doolittle got the save on Wednesday. With 4 saves in the last 6 days and a 6-2 lead over Doolittle in the save category overall, it would appear that Madson is the guy to own in Oakland's bullpen right now, and that he just wasn't available Wednesday due to having pitched in 3 of the previous 4 games. While Doolittle shouldn't necessarily be dropped, Madson should be owned in all formats.
Colby Rasmus, OF, HOU
Rasmus continued his excellent April by hitting two homeruns against the Rangers on Thursday giving him 5 dingers on the season to go along with a .311 BA. The power is legit, in fact Rasmus averages over 20 HR's per season over the past 7 years. The BA however is not legit, as he strikes out too often and has never hit above .276 in a season (.245 career). Still, he is a good fantasy option right now, just don't expect a .300 average moving forward
Joey Rickard, OF, BAL
Rickard continued his hot start on Thursday going 3-5 with a steal while striking out in his other 2 AB's. It seems like every year the Orioles find some player who breaks out of nowhere (Steve Pierce, Jimmy Paredes, etc...) and this year Rickard is that guy. Still, his main contribution so far has been in BA and his BA is being supported by an unsustainable .417 BABIP. Once his BA falls back to earth, Rickard is just another guy.

Todd Frazier, 3B, CWS
Frazier has now homered In 2 of his last 3 games, and has finally pushed his BA over the Mendoza Line. He'll look to stay hot on Friday against the Rangers, and he'll have a good chance to do so with the White Sox facing mediocre LHP Martin Perez. Frazier crushed southpaws to the tune of a .608 SLG in 2015, while Perez hasn't ever exactly dominated right-handed hitters (.281 lifetime BAA). Frazier isn't cheap, but he still may very well end up being a good value. Value Play Draft Kings $4,500.
