Carlos Correa - Carlos Correa launched two homers Saturday giving him on the season with 61 runs driven in. Even those who felt Correa would be a superstar have to be impressed/surprised about exactly how fast he reached the level he is at. Looking at 2016, Correa has a legitimate chance to be the first SS off the board as he leads the position in homeruns..... in 40 less games than Brandon Crawford's 20. It's likely that Troy Tulowitzki will still be the first off the board, especially now that he is in Toronto but Correa absolutely should be the second name called at the position.
Jose Bautista - Jose Bautista ran his HR total to 39 with a pair of long balls Saturday. His triple slash is now a great .252/.377/.543 and he's driven in 110 to go with his 39 homers. One more homer will allow he and Josh Donaldson to be the first duo to hit 40 homers each in a season since 2006. Looking forward to next year you have to like Bautista's chance to repeat his numbers to a similar level. He always has the chance of an injury risk, but in Toronto's lineup he could drive in 100 runs in a bad season with how much talent is there top-to-bottom.
Jose Altuve - With how good his 2014 was it almost seems that Jose Altuve's season has been a disappointment but the second baseman extended his career high in homers to 12 with a pair of homers. Aside from 2014, Altuve has career high numbers in AVG, HR, RBI, SB, BABIB, K%, ISO and I could go on more and more. He's by far the best second baseman in baseball and should still be a second round pick next season even if he isn't the first rounder that he was drafted as this year.
Luis Severino $8,100 - Luis Severino has an intriguing matchup Sunday with the White Sox who have dropped four of their last five games. Despite a blip against the Blue Jays (can't hold that against him) Severino has been dominant over the last month six quality starts in seven starts, and in the seventh he fell one out shy of making it through six innings. He hasn't been striking batters out at the pace you'd like but he makes a low end #1 or vey high end #2 starter on DraftKings.
Robinson Cano $3,800 - The Mariners are floundering down the stretch, but that's not to the fault of Robinson Cano who's currently on a nine game hit streak and has launched five homers in the month of September. Sunday's starter for the Angels: Jered Weaver who Cano uses as his personal BP pitcher with a .356 average against him for his career. He hasn't homered off Weaver in his career and only has one extra base it, but he's still worth the price because of the contact he makes alone.
