Carlos Martinez-Cardinals-SP
Carlos Martinez went 5 IP and gave up 5 ER on 10 H, 0 BB, and 6 K in the win against the Rockies. Carlos Martinez has been great this year, but has a 2.34 ERA and 3.42 FIP. His FIP being a full run higher than his ERA is concerning. It is most likely due to his high walk rate (3.62 BB/9) and 86% LOB. Martinez is due for regression and we don't know how his body will hold up to a full season of work. He still has huge upside, but expect a few clunkers along the way.
Jake Arrieta-Cubs-SP
Jake Arrieta went 6 IP and gave up 2 ER on 5 H, 3 BB, and 6 K in the win against the Brewers. Arrieta has a 2.62 ERA over 140.2 IP with a 2.61 FIP. Arrieta has more than backed up his breakout 2014 season. Arrieta has an excellent strikeout rate (9.42 K/9) and a 52% GB. Arrieta misses bats and induces weak contact, which makes him a legitimate ace going forward.
Shelby Miller-Braves-SP
Shelby Miller went 6 IP and gave up 4 ER on 11 H, 1 BB, and 4 K in the loss to the Phillies. Miller has a 2.44 ERA, but a 3.17 FIP. Miller has made significant changes, but has been lucky due to his low .265 BABIP and 78% LOB. Miller is average when it comes to strikeouts (7.58), which will limit his fantasy upside. Down the stretch expect Miller to pitch more like a SP#2, than an ace like he was in the first half.
Brandon Phillips-Reds-2B
Brandon Phillips was 4-5 with 2 HR and 7 RBI in the win over the Pirates. Phillips is slashing .278/7/39 with 11 SB. Phillips is seeing a resurgence at 34 yrs. old. The 11 SB is an outlier, especially for someone his age, but we aren't complaining. The average is legit, but the power isn't coming back and it is unlikely that he will steal 7+ bags the rest of the way. Phillips will likely finish the season outside the top 10 at the position.

Rajai Davis-Tigers-OF
Rajai Davis is an excellent play anytime he gets to face a left-handed pitcher. He owns a rolling .347 wOBA and .183 ISO over the past year. He also has jack and a bag potential, which is rare from a leadoff hitter and someone of Davis's price. DraftKings Value: $3,200
