A.J. Burnett-Pirates-SP
AJ Burnett went 9 IP and gave up 0 ER on 5 H, 1 BB, and 4 K in the win against the Phillies. Burnett has been excellent in his return to Pittsburgh. Burnett has a 1.89 ERA over 76.2 IP with a 3.04 K/BB ratio. Burnett's 3.30 SIERA is more than a run higher than his actual ERA, but even with some regression Burnett is a very useful fantasy commodity. Burnett gets the Nationals on Thursday in Washington.
Brandon Crawford-Giants-SS
Brandon Crawford went 2-4 in the loss to the Diamondbacks. Crawford is slashing .282/9/40 with 3 SB. He has always been known for his slick glove, but this year he has been the complete package. He has seen an outburst in power, which has been welcomed by fantasy owners. He has the highest hard hit percentage of his career, but his GB% has gone up and his FB% down, but yet he has a higher HR/FB ratio. This means that the power surge has probably been more about luck, than actual skill development. You have to like the increase in hard hit percentage, but banking on the power surge being real, is not likely a winning strategy. Anthony Rendon-Nationals-2B
Anthony Rendon-Nationals-SS
Anthony Rendon went 1-3 with a walk and a RBI in the win against the Brewers. Rendon is hitting .222 since coming off the disabled list. It is going to take time for him to get back into the swing of things. Fantasy owners have been patient this far with him, they just need to hang on a bit longer. Rendon has immense talent and upside at a weak fantasy position, so hold the course.
Paul Goldschmidt-Diamondbacks-1B
Paul Goldschmidt went 2-3 with a run scored and two walks in the win against the Giants. Goldschmidt has raised his batting average to .359 and has a triple slash of .359/17/50 with 10 SB. Goldschmidt is not getting the recognition that he deserves. He is doing it all: hitting for average, hitting for power, driving in runs, and stealing bases. Goldschmidt is fighting for the number one spot in fantasy right now.

Anytime Grandal gets the matchup against a RHP, he immediately gets consideration for me. He has a .389 wOBA and 151 wRC+ against RHP. He gets the plus matchup against RHP Yovani Gallardo in Texas. Grandal will more than likely have a plus spot in the lineup as well. DraftKings Value: $4,100
