Good news! We'll be updating these sheets weekly from here until the end of the season. Here is a sampling of nearly 70 updates this week:
Hitters:
1 Billy Hamilton CIN OF A Didn't get the call when Ludwick went down and no, we don't know for sure when he'll be up.
2 Oscar Taveras STL OF A Should make debut at age 20 once someone (Beltran?) gets hurt.
3 Jurickson Profar TEX SS A Mitch Moreland is off to a 2-for-21 start. Profar had 2 hits in first AAA game plus a SB.
4 Wil Myers TB OF A Guessing we'll see him in May as long as he's faring well in AAA.
5 Travis d'Arnaud NYM C A 2 2B, 2 BB, 4 runs in first AAA game this year. Ready now.
6 Miguel Sano MIN 3B A 1-for-3 in first game. Watch the K's this year to see if he makes progress making contact.
7 Christian Yelich MIA OF A- Huge spring, so with the Fernandez promotion, perhaps MIA brings up up soon.
9 Anthony Rendon WAS 3B A- 3 hits in fist 15 ab's but also a 1:3 K:BB. Just not sure when or where we will see him in Wash.
12 Yasiel Puig LAD OF A- 5-for-10 with a HR, so predictably off to a solid start. No room in LA at this point.
13 Jorge Soler CHC OF A- At this rate, AA may come soon - 7-for-16 with 2 HR in first 4 A+ games.
Pitchers:
1 Dylan Bundy BAL SP A Elbow issue doesn't seem to be a concert, but club will of course exercise caution.
2 Gerrit Cole PIT SP A No, the Pirates don't think Jonathan Sanchez and others are better. He'll be up by June at the latest.
3 Jose Fernandez MIA SP A Yes he is one of the org's top 5 SP, but why start his service clock now? Great debut though.
4 Taijuan Walker SEA SP A 4 runs in 5 IP in first start, but fanned 8 and is very advance for his age.
5 Jameson Taillon PIT SP A- 5 shutout innings in his first start. Is a former 2nd overall pick.
6 Shelby Miller STL SP A- Decent debut, but real breakout may be next year as he settles in.
8 Trevor Bauer CLE SP A- Spot start, but 7 BB gets him sent back. Still work to do here.
9 Tyler Skaggs ARI SP A- Solid first AAA start, so he's next in line when a SP is needed in Arizona.
11 Julio Teheran ATL SP A- Rough first start against the Cubs, but had a solid spring and will get a bunch of rope.
13 Noah Syndergaard NYM SP B+ 4 innings of 3-hit ball with 5 K's in 2013 debut. He could be a solid #2 for the Mets in 2 years.
