Highlights include a 2-HR game from Mike Trout and Jerry Sands homering in four straight...
American League
1 Mike Trout LAA OF A+ .214 through four games and then a 2 HR outburst. That's more like it.
39 Nick Franklin SEA SS B Surprising to see him in A+ after a full year at that level last year. 0-for-12 so far.
42 Brent Morel CHW 3B B .263 with no BB or HR through 9 games. Will need to pick it up soon.
46 Jose Iglesias BOS SS B 4 hits in 3 games. If his bat gets hot over the next couple months, promotion could follow.
49 Hank Conger LAA C B Was kept as the team's #3 catcher which makes little sense. Expect more AAA time.
8 Kyle Drabek TOR SP A 1.38 ERA in 2 GS ensure he'll stick around once Morrow returns from injury.
9 Mike Montgomery KC SP A- 5 ER in 5 IP in first start but has more upside than any KC pitching prospect.
10 Jacob Turner DET SP A- Wow nice first AA start - 6-2-0-0-1-9. Could be fast-tracked if he keeps that up.
11 Manny Banuelos NYY SP A- Four hitless innings in debut. Once he builds up stamina, Yankees could take a look.
15 Zack Britton BAL SP B+ Not sure how big a K guy he'll be, but he's been impressive either way. Should stick around.
National League
2 Bryce Harper WAS OF A+ 2 hits, and RBI, and a SB in his pro debut. Ascent should be rapid.
29 Wilmer Flores NYM SS B+ .235 through 5 games, but the 4 BBs are encouraging. Still at SS for now.
31 Jerry Sands LAD 1B B+ This is your Brandon Belt LA fans…HRs in each of his first three 2011 games.
32 Tony Sanchez PIT C B+ .222 with a HR and 1.0 EYE through 5 games. May see hiim late this year if he's hitting and healthy.
33 Yonder Alonso CIN 1B B+ .188 start and with power slow to develop, I'm souring on him a bit.
2 Julio Teheran ATL SP A Just turned 20 in Jan and goes out and puts up 5.2 one-run innings in 2011 debut.
3 Shelby Miller STL SP A 5-4-1-0-1-9 in 2011 debut. Should finish 2011 in AA…or higher.
4 Aroldis Chapman CIN SP A At some point he's either closing or in the rotation, but command issues are there.
26 Randall Delgado ATL SP B+ 5-3-0-0-2-6 is a nice start to a season. We could see him in ATL late this year.
27 Zach Lee LAD SP B+ Aggressively put in Low-A and responds with 4-2-0-0-3-5 debut.
