1 Mike Trout LAA OF A+ Has cooled off a little, but still has a .933 OPS and doesn't turn 20 until August.
3 Jesus Montero NYY C A .407 but no walks in 59 at-bats. Still, it's .407, so no worries.
4 Mike Moustakas KC 3B A .647 OPS through 18 games and just .150 avg versus LHP. Still not worried.
7 Eric Hosmer KC 1B A .380/.458/.479. Just 1 HR so far but also a 1.00 EYE.
49 Jemile Weeks OAK 2B B .333/.438/.485 with 1 HR and 3 SB. Should have a shot at 2B job in 2012.
9 Mike Montgomery KC SP A- Just 2 ER over last 3 GS, but needs to improve 18:21 K:BB (21 IP).
10 Manny Banuelos NYY SP A- Back from blister injury - just 12.2 IP in 3 GS, but 2.25 ERA and 10:5 K:BB. NY may need him soon.
13 Zack Britton BAL SP A- Early ROY contender who I anticipate will be ineligible for this list by the end of May.
16 Kyle Gibson MIN SP A- 5.63 ERA through 2 GS but should find himself in the big leagues late this year. Fmr #1 pick.
25 Drew Pomeranz CLE SP B+ Scuffled in start #3, but 22:5 K:BB in 15 innings is a nice start to a pro career.
National League
27 Derek Norris WAS C B+ Only 18 AB since ankle injury, so has some time to make up, but the talent to do so.
31 Tony Sanchez PIT C B+ .255/.407/.319. Solid 4:9 K:BB but just 1 XBH (HR) among 12 hits.
32 Anthony Rizzo SD 1B B+ Decent start - .432/.494/.797. Safe to say he's on the radar for 2011 promotion.
33 Dee Gordon LAD SS B+ .301 with 8 SB in 17 games and most important - 2 BB in last 3 games.
34 Jaff Decker SD OF B+ 16 of 23 hits are for extra bases. 1.232 OPS so far. SD prospects are mashing.
19 Stetson Allie PIT SP B+ Likely to start pro career in rookie ball. Future closer or #2 starter.
20 Simon Castro SD SP B+ 8.40 ERA through 3 GS. Should be a solid fantasy guy in Petco, but we expected better than this.
22 Casey Kelly SD SP B+ Still a work in progress as 5 IP, 5 ER outing this week demonstrates.
23 Randall Delgado ATL SP B+ RHP holding LH hitters to .182 AVG. 25:9 K:BB in 21 innings.
24 Zach Lee LAD SP B+ Great first 3 GS: 1.29 ERA, 21:7 K:BB in 14 IP. Command should come in time.
