11 Dustin Ackley SEA 2B A- Back-to-back multi-hit games then goes 1-for-10 to drop to .145 with no HR. 11:11 K:BB is about it.
12 Brett Wallace TOR 1B A- Off to great start with 8 HR in 70 at-bats. .286/.375/.671 overall.
14 Michael Taylor OAK OF A- Disappointing .723 OPS to start the season for this potential 20/20 guy. He'll pick it up.
25 Lonnie Chisenall CLE 3B B+ .358/.427/.433. No homers yet and some wonder whether the power will be there.
31 Wil Myers KC C B+ Just a .691 OPS in disappointing full-season debut. Still like that bat however.
3 Jeremy Hellickson TB SP A Unexpectedly bad outing last time out but still 2.38 ERA and 22:6 K:BB in 22.2 innings.
4 Kyle Drabek TOR SP A 3.80 ERA and 20:12 K:BB in 21.2 innings. We'll probably see him come July.
6 Mike Montgomery KC SP A 1.09 ERA and 33:4 K:BB in 24.2 innings. Could be a #2 to Greinke by 2011.
8 Martin Perez TEX SP A- 2.31 ERA and 14:6 K:BB in 11.2 IP. Elite talent just turned 19 in April.
9 Jacob Turner DET SP A- Last pitched on 4/15 due to
elbow soreness. Fortunately it doesn't appear serious.
National League
10 Domonic Brown PHI OF A- .936 OPS to date. Phils may need to replace Werth in 2010 to be able to afford Howard.
13 Starlin Castro CHC SS A- 2 BB in first 12 G, 3 in last 6. 1.027 OPS w/ 4 SB. Cubs need to find a spot for him soon.
15 Dee Gordon LAD SS A- .354/.377/.492 after skipping A+, but just 1 HR and 2 BB in 62 at-bats. 4 SB.
16 Logan Morrison FLA 1B A- .300/.383/.600 with 1.00 EYE. He'll be ready by July (earlier?), but Gaby Sanchez is holding his own.
18 Yonder Alonso CIN 1B B+ .259/.386/.414 is underwhelming, but 1.00 EYE is just fine. He'll hit in big leagues.
23 Arodyz Vizcaino ATL SP B+ 1 solid, 3 mediocre outings = 4.95 ERA. 19:7 K:BB in 20 IP is encouraging however.
24 Simon Castro SD SP B+ 10 K/9 in A+ a year ago and 1.06 ERA through 3 GS with 11:4 K:BB in 17 IP.
25 Ethan Martin LAD SP B+ 1.80 ERA and 20:15 K:BB in
15 IP (3 GS) in tough environment for pitchers.
29 Drew Storen WAS RP B+ 7.1-3-1-1-1-8 so far in AA. Could be up in the big leagues with Strasburg come July.
30 Phillipe Aumont PHI SP B+ 6 no-hit innings last time out and just 2 BB in last 11 IP. Could be a rotation candidate later in '10.
