American League
30 Aaron Hicks MIN OF B Just .225 on the year, but 15% BB% is encouraging and just needs time for tools to translate.
35 Tyler Flowers CHW C B .277 in 47 at-bats in AAA but oddly a 14:1 K:BB. Normally we see a far better eye from him.
40 Josh Reddick BOS OF B .375 in last 10 games before getting "the call". 4 for first 11 with a HR and two doubles.
45 Jordan Danks CHW OF B Has lost a little since AA promotion - .784 OPS there vs. .934 in Carolina League.
50 Ryan Westmoreland BOS OF B Five-tool guy is a ways away, but a .289/.394/.493 debut isn't bad. 12 SB and 0.76 EYE.
32 Jeanmar Gomez CLE SP B 5.26 ERA in July, but back-to-back solid outings now. 7.5 K/9.
39 Trevor Reckling LAA SP B 79:55 K:BB in AA is the big issue… 6.2 BB/9 in last 10 starts.
42 Casey Kelly BOS SP B Leaving him as a pitcher despite tempoary shift to SS to limit 2009 innings. Long-term potential ace.
45 Dellin Betances NYY SP B Last 3 GS: a total of 5 2/3 IP with 9 ER and 7 BB. Something still not right with forearm.
47 Hector Rondon CLE SP B Great year - 2.76 ERA and 104:22 K:BB over 101 innings. May see him in September.
National League
1 Jason Heyward ATL OF A .414 in 87 at-bats in AA and a 1.50 EYE. AB/HR rate of 19.7 impressive as well.
2 Buster Posey SF C A .281 in last 10 games. Giants catching situation next year will be interesting.
4 Pedro Alvarez PIT 3B A Liking AA lately - .298/.370/.545 there overall plus 5:10 K:BB in last 10 games.
5 Cameron Maybin FLA OF A .328/.415/.471 and has the ability to make an Andrew McCutcheon type impact.
6 Mike Stanton FLA OF A 70% CT% has AVG at .271, but 22 HR and .360 OBP are plenty good.
21 Jordan Lyles HOU SP B+ 2 tough starts but rebounded nicely in last one. Overall an impressive 133:32 K:BB in 110 2/3 IP.
28 Brad Lincoln PIT SP B 2.28 ERA in AA but 4.58 in AAA. Command strong, but he's been very hittable lately.
29 Julio Teheran ATL SP B 8-2-1-1-1-11 in last start could be the beginning of a huge breakout.
34 Bud Norris HOU SP B Highly impressive first start - 7 IP, 2 H, 0 ER. More than enough for 'stros to keep him around.
35 Brad Holt NYM SP B 5.36 ERA in 9 AA starts after a 3.12 mark at the A+ level. Probably not a cause for concern.
