10 Desmond Jennings TAM OF A- On fire: .485 in last 10. .328/.412/.510 with 36 SB and 1.02 EYE. Crawford's replacement?
11 Jesus Montero NYY C A- Just .211 in last 10 games but HR in 2 of last 3. Just huge upside - .940 OPS at age 19.
13 Carlos Santana CLE C A- Hitting just .246 since the end of May, but does have a 30:30 K:BB during that time.
18 Eric Hosmer KC 1B A- Signs of life: 2 HR in last 10 games after none since May. .278 AVG w/ 6:8 K:BB in July.
23 Chris Carter OAK 1B B+ Just 2 HR so far in July but over last year, EYE has improved from 0.49 to 0.63.
3 Brian Matusz BAL SP A Maybe the ASB disrupted his rhythm - 5 IP, 11 H, 6 ER last time out. Had allowed just 1 ER in 26 1/3.
4 Chris Tillman BAL SP A Last 3 GS: 20 1/3 IP, 1 ER, 20:1 K:BB. Safe to say he's conquered Triple-A.
5 Neftali Feliz TEX SP A As a RP so far: 1 ER in 10 2/3 IP with 11:1 K:BB. Has he found his calling as a reliever?
8 Wade Davis TAM SP A- 10 ER in last 13 IP over two starts but 14 strikeouts is encouraging.
11 Jake Arrieta BAL SP A- Six very good and two bad AAA starts = 4.10 ERA. 108:37 K:BB in 100 2/3 IP.

17 Michael Taylor PHI OF A- .977 OPS led to recent promotion to AAA. 4-for-20 there as he awaits word of possible trade w/ TOR.
19 Angel Villalona SF 1B A- Out another couple weeks/ quad strain. Just 21-for-107 since the end of May.
20 Brett Wallace STL 3B B+ .302/.375/.438. I'd expect better than a 35.3 AB/HR rate in the PCL, but power will come.
22 Logan Morrison FLA 1B B+ .333 with 3 HR and 11:18 K:BB in July, so things are looking up. Power will be there.
24 Fernando Martinez NYM OF B+ He'll be out for a while with the knee injury. Scouts still mixed on his long-term potential.
32 Brad Holt NYM SP B Last 3 starts: 2.41 ERA, 24:4 K:BB in 18 2/3 innings. 87 K in 72 IP on the year.
34 Kris Medlen ATL SP B 5.67 ERA indicates he's not quite ready for the big league rotation.
43 Drew Storen WAS RP B 1.86 ERA in July gets him the promotion to High-A. Could be closing in Wash. In 2010.
44 Jason Knapp PHI SP B 08 2nd rounder dealing with shoulder fatigue. 111 K in 85 2/3 IP and still just 18.
45 Scott Elbert LAD SP B Back down from LA's bullpen and should continue as a starter in Triple-A.
