American League
28 Chris Davis TEX 1B B Oh my. .459 with 5 HR in last 10 G. .339 with 20 HR and 21 doubles this year.
36 Chris Carter OAK 1B B .231 in June, but 14 BB and 5 HR in 17 G. #2 in CAL league with 16 HR.
37 Jose Tabata NYY OF B The upside is there, but some results would be nice. He's still not hitting for AVG or power.
39 Taylor Teagarden TEX C B Just .243 in June. He wouldn't be this high as anything other than a catcher.
41 Max Ramirez TEX C B .358/.456/.650. Might be being pitched around more in June - 8:10 K:BB. If he can stick at catcher…
11 Trevor Cahill OAK SP A- 103:31 K:BB and 2.78 ERA in 87.1 innings. Probably ready for AA despite tender age.
12 Chris Tillman BAL SP A- 2.29 ERA in his last seven starts. The Bedard deal keeps looking better and better for BAL.
13 Neftali Feliz TEX SP A- Last 2 GS: 11.1 innings, 20 K. 2.24 ERA and 10.9 K/9 says he's ready for the CAL league.
14 Nick Adenhart LAA SP A- Ugh. Last 2 starts: 7 IP, 19 H, 14 ER, 7 BB, 9 K. Not sure what's wrong yet.
18 Anthony Swarzak MIN SP B+ No reports of an injury, but after going 10 days between starts, he retired just 2 batters on 6/10.
National League
33 Todd Frazier CIN SS B .370 in June. 12 HR on the year. Bat not an issue,
34 Steven Pearce PIT OF B Hot and cold all year. Cold now: .231 with 1 HR in last 10 G. May be losing chance at FT job.
43 Gorkys Hernandez ATL OF B .344 in June and .318/.376/.519 on the year. .44 EYE could use a little work, but it's not awful.
44 Dexter Fowler COL OF B 58 K in 59 G, but tremendous athleticism. 31 XBH and 14 SB. Also, he plays CF.
46 Brandon Jones ATL OF B .714 OPS in AAA won't cut it, but 10-for-21 with the Braves so far. Maybe they're showcasing him?
31 Madison Bumgarner SF SP B Last 9 GS: 0.64 ERA, 62:7 K:BB in 52.2 innings. Would probably fare better than Zito now.
35 Henry Sosa SF SP B 2.00 ERA in 18 innings as he rounds his arm into shape after missing close to 2 months.
38 Colin Balester WAS SP B Last 3 starts (2.76 ERA, 16:4 K:BB in 16.1 innings) have him inching towards the bigs.
40 Daryl Thompson CIN SP B 22:4 K:BB in 27.2 AAA innings. 2.22 ERA for the year and could get look if Bailey's struggles continue.
41 Chris Volstad FLA SP B A fine 2.92 ERA will give him a shot in FLA this year, but 6.1 K/9 limits upside.
